The actress has been visiting fairgrounds with husband Keith Urban on his country tour where she says she’s “partial to funnel cake” but draws the line at “fried snickers.”
Nicole Kidman is nominated for an Emmy her work in HBO’s Big Little Lies, and here’s one fact about her that she claims is no whopper: Nicole Kidman loves funnel cakes.
In an interview with THR, Kidman, who is taking it easy for the majority of 2017 after working nonstop last year and promoting four projects in the lineup at the recent Cannes Film Festival, admits that she’s making the most of her downtime. “I’ve been on holiday for four months,” exhales Kidman, nominated alongside co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern and Alexander Skarsgard.
Part of her break is being spent alongside husband and country superstar Keith Urban on his tour stops, often at destinations far less glamour than the red carpets draped in front of the Palais — state fairs across the U.S. “I get on that tour bus, we have fun, we go to the fairs, we do the rides,” says Kidman. “The kids love it. We love cotton candy, and anything fried. But I do have to say I am a little partial to a funnel cake.”
But even she must draw a line sometimes: “The fried Snickers bar, that’s just too much.”
Also too much? Vacation. Kidman recently ended her break and is now back at work opposite Jason Momoa in Warner Bros.’ Aquaman, currently filming in Kidman’s native Australia.
